Nicknamed "KaiBorg", Kai Garcia was born and raised in Kauai. Growing up he was introduced to brazilian jiu jitsu in 93' from Longman Jiu Jitsu Hawaii, under Bruno Ewald. Shortly after Kai traveled to Brazil where he become world champion in 97'. Later on he moved to North Shore, Oahu where his passion for surfing and training came together. Currently Kaiborg resides in Oahu with his family and friends dedicating his time and energy back into the community.
